Sound Waves Imaging Co. does not provide any diagnostic ultrasounds or give any medical advice whatsoever. We offer elective prenatal ultrasounds, strictly to capture those cute pictures of baby for entertainment and peace of mind in a comfortable atmosphere. We offer a variety of packages, including gender reveal and 3D/4D. Each package provides a unique and one-of-a-kind experience.

Get the most out of your session: Book between 26-32 weeks with the best time at 30 weeks. Drink plenty of water and keep yourself well hydrated at least 48 hrs prior to appointment.
The result of the image will vary and depend on the position of baby, location of placenta, amount of fluid, and mama's scanning characteristics.

How to best prepare for your ultrasound:
We recommend drinking plenty of water at least 48 hours leading up to your appointment. This helps improve the clarity of the images.
Please, hydrate, hydrate, hydrate 2-3 days before the scan. While we try to provide you with the best pictures of your beautiful baby, sometimes they can be shy. Sometimes babies like to get cozy and hide behind the placenta or they just aren't having it and want to nap. If we think having Mom get up and move around to motivate baby or having a snack to wake up baby up, we will try - but we can’t run too far behind, as it wouldn't be fair to other scheduled appointments.
We do offer one free repeat session if it appears we just aren’t going to get that cute picture. This needs to be scheduled on another day within a week please; we will try again, but cannot guarantee perfection.

*** We REQUIRE your ID and proof of established care with you OB provider, along with their contact information (name, phone number and office name/location). A receipt, first ultrasound picture/report or visit summary will suffice as proof. We want to make sure you start your pregnancy journey with a qualified provider (a new OB visit is typically around 8 weeks at most OB/GYN offices). It's important to continue regular prenatal care with your healthcare provider for detailed health assessments and any routine diagnostic ultrasounds ordered by your OB provider. We do not provide diagnostic ultrasound services.***
