Can I find out the gender of my baby during the ultrasound?
Yes! We can often determine the gender of your baby during the ultrasound. Please let us know if you’d like to know the gender and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Is 3D/4D ultrasound safe for my baby?
Yes, 3D/4D ultrasound is considered safe. Ultrasound uses sound waves and is not harmful, like the radiation used in other medical imaging procedures (XR or CT).
It uses the same sound wave technology as 2D ultrasound with no known risks to you or your baby.
Anything I should know before my appointment? Is there any prep for my ultrasound?
We require proof that you’ve established care for your current pregnancy (proof can be ultrasound images/report, visit summary, receipt, etc.).
Please hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! For the first trimester we recommend having a full bladder, however, do not worry if you can’t hold it or it’s too painful… the last thing we want to do is make you suffer! Having a full bladder during the first trimester ultrasound helps push bowel out of the way to see your little baby, that’s only reason why we recommend it ☺

Is this the same ultrasound machine that doctors use and how are you any different?
Yes! This is the same technology used in medical offices. The difference is we are doing elective ultrasounds, not medical ultrasounds. We use the same technology to provide the experience of seeing your unborn baby, like a photography studio!
Do you accept insurance?
We do not accept medical insurance, as we do not provide diagnostic medical ultrasounds. We only do elective ultrasounds for entertainment experiences.
Can I have friends and family at my ultrasound session?
Of course! If you plan on having small children around we recommend having another adult with you to keep an eye on them, so mom and dad can get the most out of the experience.
What is 3D ultrasound? What is 4D ultrasound?
Traditional 2D ultrasound is your standard black and white pictures, while 3D ultrasound creates three-dimensional images of the fetus and offers detailed views of facial features and limbs. 4D (four-dimensional) ultrasound provides video of the fetus (baby moving, yawning, waving).
Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes! We require notice of cancellation at least 24 hours in advance. Any notice of cancellation within 24 hours of your appointment will lose the initial deposit from booking. No shows will be charged the full fee for the appointment originally booked.
